Setting your priorities

If you are juggling a busy career with a family and social life, sorting out your priorities can be a difficult thing to achieve.  Even if we focus on work for the moment, how organised are you? If you are managing a team, you are a role model for them (whether you like it or not). It is imperative that you can prioritise the important tasks and that you can remain calm under pressure.  Nothing will negatively influence your team more, than showing them how little in control of your day you are.

I have published a book, Effective Time Management Skills for Doctors.  In it I explain how you must develop focus, self-discipline and an action-oriented approach if you really want to get things done.  If you make a “to do” list, that’s a great start, but I can help you take that further, to develop real organisation principles.

My blog will offer you advice on how to become a better time manager and when I have scheduled it properly, I will also write an e-book on the subject, for your interest.  Enjoy and thank you for visiting this page.

If you are at a loss as to where to start becoming more organised, I do work personally with a limited number of clients.  I will be able to provide you with some useful tools and techniques to get you started and keep you organised. If you would like to become one of my clients, please contact me via the Contacts Page on this website.  Alternatively, feel free to call me on 01622 816806 or email me at [email protected]

I look forward to working with you.
